How long will my prints last?

All prints are produced using Fine Art & Photographic Giclée inks. When combined with high-quality papers and displayed or stored under ideal conditions, they can last over 100 years — some claim even up to 200 years. To maximise longevity, avoid direct sunlight and consider UV-protective glass when framing.

What type of paper do you use?

Open Edition prints are produced on a bright white, high-quality paper that delivers excellent clarity and depth at an accessible price.

Limited Edition prints are produced on Hahnemühle or Canson museum-grade fine art papers, internationally recognised for their archival quality, surface character, and colour reproduction.

Unique Collector’s Editions (1/1) are produced on the very highest grade cotton-based fine art papers, such as Canson Platine Fibre Rag or Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, chosen for their richness and longevity in museum collections.

Why are Limited Editions more expensive?

Limited Edition prints are produced on more prestigious fine art papers, signed and individually numbered by me, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Each print passes through my hands for inspection and approval before shipping, making it a more personal and collectible piece. Only a fixed number of these prints will ever exist.

Why does a signed limited edition take longer to deliver?

Because every Limited Edition must be inspected, signed, and numbered by me before dispatch, delivery usually takes around five - seven working days longer than Open Editions.

What happens once a Unique Collector’s Edition is sold?

Once a Unique Collector’s Edition (1/1) is acquired, the Limited Edition of that artwork is permanently closed. Any Limited Edition prints sold up to that point remain valid, signed, and part of the edition, but no further signed or numbered prints will ever be produced.

The Open Edition remains available, ensuring the image can still be enjoyed, while the Unique Collector’s Edition retains its singular status.

Can I license your images for use?

I’m open to licensing for editorial, commercial, or publishing purposes. Please get in touch to discuss terms.

Can I buy digital downloads of your work?

No.

Will I get tracking info on my order?

Yes, all orders are sent using a tracked service and you will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Originals artworks typically ship within 5-7 business days.

Limited Edition Prints may take 7-10 business days and Open edition prints will often ship within 3-5 business days.

I hold no stock and all prints are printed on demand. An exception to this is Christmas when delivery periods can become extended further - so order well in advance.

Are your artworks original?

Yes. All work sold on this website is created by the artist W. Chouffot and available either as a one off original artwork, limited and/or open editon prints.

Do you take commissions?

Yes, I occasionally accept commissions depending on availability. Commission require a 50% none refundable deposit and full payment on handover. Feel free to get in touch, outlining your requirements, vision, and expectations.
