Inner Echoes – Original Abstract Artwork in Water-Based Wax Crayon

With this piece, I wanted to explore the interplay of colour and texture, using water-based wax crayons to create something both vibrant and unpredictable. The central orb—soft yet intense—draws the eye, surrounded by layers of rich purples, reds, and teals that seem to shift and blend as you look. The process was experimental: I applied the crayons, then manipulated them with water, letting the medium flow and merge in ways I couldn’t fully control. The result is a balance of spontaneity and intention, where bold hues and organic textures evoke a sense of energy and movement. It’s a small but striking work, designed to add a burst of colour and intrigue to any space.
